Key Accountabilities

 

 

  1. Market intelligence and product development
  • Perform market research to understand competitors’ strategy, strengths and weaknesses and identify the company key competitiveness and need-improvement areas.
  • Brainstorm and initiate new products to optimize the business opportunities and support sustainable future growth.
  • Manage and deliver the product initiation and development projects by close coordination with related departments across the company.

 

  1. Business process improvement
  • Study and understand the existing company’s key processes to identify process loopholes and improvement areas
  • Research the best practices applied in the financial market and consumer finance businesses.
  • Recommend the process changes or introduce innovative approaches to improve the process efficiency and effectiveness.

 

  1. Conceptualization and execution of the new/ on-going projects with relevant department heads to a desirable level before hand-over to relevant departments within timelines
  • Based on the business insight and management requirements, identify the business opportunities and conceptualize the new projects in all areas of the company particularly new product development, process efficiency, customer experience improvement, etc.
  • Develop the business feasibility study for project proposal to support the strategic decision.
  • Play the role of project manager to monitor the project progress up to the expected quality and timeline.
  • Ensure consistent and clear communications with all relevant departments during the project with proactively collaborative and empathy mindset.
  • Ensure smooth project hand-over to relevant departments for on-going implementation after going live.
  • Perform project post implementation review

 

  1. Stakeholder management
  • Maintain good relationship with cross-functional stakeholders including senior members, colleagues
  • Support other team members to achieve the team targets
  • Maintain back-up resources for temporary shortage if necessary
  • Train and share valued knowledges and business insight with the team and relevant cross-functional colleagues.

 

 

Job Specification / Possible Profile

 

  1. Qualification:
  • Bachelor or MBA's degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics.
  • Hold relevant finance/ data analytics/ project management certifications is a plus.

 

  1. Working experience:
  • At least 5 year’s experience in Banking and Finance industry, particularly Consumer Finance company or business improvement consultance.
  • Experience in delivering company-wide level projects with senior management and cross-functional coordination.

 

  1. Knowledge:     
  • Expertise on consumer finance product development, process efficiency improvement
  • Banking / consumer finance industry business insight
  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytics tools
  • Project management

 

  1. Skills:            
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Good financial and business acumen
  • Interpersonal skill and effective communication skill
  • Ability to work under pressure, agile to changes and willing to take risk
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.

Key Accountabilities

 

  1. MIS reporting pack production and analysis
  • Build periodical MIS reports for on-going portfolio performance management to support management decision.
  • Perform ad-hoc business analysis and market research to understand the issues and find out business opportunities.
  • Pattern and segmentation on customer portfolio to identify various kind of risks and opportunities with statistical techniques (decision tree, logistic regression, etc.)
  • Analyze and mine credit performance by credit risk quantitative models, analytics to provide findings for business decision making and adjustment.

 

  1. Reporting efficiency enhancement
  • Regular communicate with respective cross-functions involved in the loan initiation and maintenance to understand the portfolio trends then producing the output through the analytics pack.
  • Propose new approaches in MIS pack generation to minimize manual work and leverage automation tools.
  • Co-operate with IT in system enhancements, create Business Requirement and execute UAT/

 

  1. Execution of the new projects if required
  • Support project manager to deliver the project up to the expected quality and timeline.
  • Bridge between multiple departments to work on required assignments with proactively collaborative and empathy mindset.
  • Promptly resolve project issues if any.

 

Job Specification / Possible Profile

 

  1. Qualification:
  • University degree in MIS/Information System, Data Science, Business Analytics, IT & Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Economics or related fields
  1. Working experience:
  • Minimum of 3 year experience in Risk analytics, Data analytics, Credit scoring analysis or Database programming in banking or consumer finance industry with practical usage of analytical, database programming tools (SAS, Oracle, SQL or other database management systems)

 

  1. Knowledge:
  • Strong at analytic skills, experience users of SAS, Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, R, SPSS…
  • Experience in banking/consumer finance is required
  1. Skills:            
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Vietnamese
  • Numerical & analytical sense: ability to tackle a problem by using a logical, systematic, sequential approach
  • Computer skills: advanced user of excel
  • Ability to work under pressure, agile to changes
  • Ability to work independently as well as a team player.
